Following a tradition since 1947, the Hawaiian Malacological Society has
published a monthly magazine that soon was titled "Hawaiian Shell News"
containing articles of interest to world-wide members.  The printed
version ended with the last issue of 1996 and was replaced by the
current Internet magazine "Internet Hawaiian Shell News".

The December, 1999 issue of Internet Hawaiian Shell News is now on line.
It contains in the Features section::
A continuation of Chang's Turrids of Taiwan with 11 Mitromorphinae
species with large illustrations, some with protoconch photos.

Thanks to an enthusiastic, cooperative and knowledgeable CONCH-L  and
HMS group who have supported this Internet Magazine the past three
