Dear friends, to underline my offer, here follow the letter I sent on July,
25 to Conch-L; if you like the idea I had in the past, please send a sign to
the list (also if negative! ;-))
Ciao
Sandro

<Dear Conch-L and friends,

my girlfriend Roberta has created her personal WEB Page, and has included a
page
regarding shells that is now under construction.

I know that there are already marvellous shell sites on the WEB, but on
this site you will find something new and, I think, useful: a service for
all the shell lovers.

We know that it is not allowed to send to everybody on the Conch-L list
attached text or pictures: well, you can send to me and I'll publish on the
site where they will stay for 3 (!) months (or more, if I receive only 2 or
3 of them!) and everybody can take a look. This could be really useful to
recognize a shell, for instance.

Moreover, I'll advise Conch list once I publish any new request.

So, contact me directly: in one day I prepare the site with your request,
and then you can write to the List or ask me to do for you.

Visit anyway the address:
http://members.tripod.com/QueenGuinevere or http://QueeGuinevere.spedia.net
(to reach the english version click on the upper left button) and send us
your request and suggestions. Would you like to be informed when we update
it? Go to the "registration" page or send us this message back. Do not
forget to leave your greetings on the Guest Book!

Ciao,
Sandro & Roberta

> In scanning my mail the last few days, it seems to me that what we need is
an agreement on ONE SITE to serve for all scanned or otherwise produced
pictures. We have too many chiefs and not enough indians. Few of us have
the time to search out all of the image sites. Obviously, it should be the
one that will hold the most pictures and is easiest to reach. (I jkust wish
I had a regular computer and a scanner; my equipment is just an addition to
a cable TV!) Everyone, how do we go about establishing a consensus? Ross
has made us a good offer, let us see what we think of his.
