Dear Conchlers,

if you have collected a shell by yourself you can
write leg. and your name. If you are sure that
that a shell was collected by another person and
you know this person you can write: leg. and the
name of that person. If you get a shell out from a
collection collected by another person and you
don't know the person, but the shell collector or
an institute (in which collection the shell has
been located beforee) you can use such a term:
ex coll. (which means out from the collection)
and the name of the person, where you got the
shell.
As date you can write: maybe leg. Helmut Nisters,
18. 08. 2000.
or date. 18. 08. 2000

I hope that's ok.
with best shelling greetings
Helmut
