I see Bob Fisher's points, of course, but ask him what would he
recommend the United States do? A terrorist and a safe harbor for a
terrorist are not very distinct. I agree wholeheartedly with him about
the vicious Haitian criminal residing in New York City; he should be
extradited and put to justice in Haiti even if his defense is to
implicate various American intelligence agents in knowing about him and
his cutthroats. By the same standard, a mass murderer harbored in some
country cannot be held immune from us reaching out to extinguish this
vermin. Haiti should send agents to extract this guy, just as the
Israelis did in 1961 when Adolf Eichmann was living on Garibaldi Street
in Buenos Aires.

The middle eastern states cannot have it both ways. If their
governments knowingly harbor terrorists, as Afghanistan has done, it
will not do to proclaim themselves innocent of his actions.

And now back to shelling, as Mr. Fisher recommends. How many of you are
willing to venture to the world's best shelling grounds, at Tawi Tawi or
Jolo Island in the Sulu?
