There is no confusion, A. antiquata is the name for our common Australian
species, scapha is a questionable species and in fact does not get a
mention in Dodges work on the Linnaeus collection, the Lamarck species of
scapha is more recognisable. Do our Masters in Canberra have a copy of the
bivalve book Bivalves of Australia Vol 1 and 2 if so all will be revealed to
you. You should give a private email so that messages such as this can be
communcated without boring our CONCH L members with these details.
Best wishes

Kev
