I am not able to track it down at the moment, but I believe that Harasewych and Kantor (2001. On the morphology and taxonomic position of Babylonia (Neogastropoda: Babyloniidae). Bollettino Malacologico) support removal of Babylonia from Buccinidae.  It is "in press" according to GenBank, which is often not updated when things come out of press.
