Dear Neritophiles,

I'm in search of articles on the natural history of Neritina usnea (AKA
reclivata). Anything on salt water requirements for reproduction and/or
egg deposition? Or, if not, anything on similar species (i.e., taxa that
live in basically freshwater habitats)?

Also, to Dr. Mienis (or anyone else that knows of such matters).....what is
the reference for the referral of reclivata to the older name usnea and
what is the proper author and date for the later? I knew this at some
point, but can not retrieve it from my feebling databanks....

Many thanks again....Kurtles
