Dear David, et al.,

I knew Jim pretty well. An engineer by profession, he was a passionate but
well-disciplined collector (partcularly of marine micromollusks). His most
memorable conchological achievement will likely be an exhaustive inventory
of the Florida Panhandle waters from Alligator Point through St. Joe Bay.
His collection is headed to the Florida Museum of Natural History (Fred G.
Thompson, personal communication [yesterday!]).

Harry
