I just ran the numbers from my opisthobranch taxon list and came up with
11,240+ names.  This includes some duplicates and the generic names are
listed separately AND includes shelled opisthobranchs but does NOT
include more than half of the species names.  I would guess it may be a
reasonable estimate for non-shelled names.  On the other hand the
standard estimate mentioned is about 5000 nudibranch species.
