I think I posted this a few years ago but my favorite scene in a
movie involving a mollusk was in "The Black Robe" wherein a Native
American chief or shaman cuts off the fingers of a missionary with a
razor sharp giant floater shell (Pyganodon grandis).  Very Cool.
