Do you have any further information about the fossils or the kind of help needed?  Fossils near the coast may be relatively young (Pliocene, Pleistocene) and probably relatively similar to the modern fauna.  In that case, someone familiar with the modern fauna of the region would be able to help, though extinct species or taxa no longer found in the region may also occur.  However, outcrops of older rock near the coast could be of any age.

Identifying species would require someone who is familiar with local fossils.  However, many more people would have the knowledge to help with identifying higher taxonomic levels, or providing comparative information about other faunas.  There would also be experts on a particular family who might be able to help with portions of the fauna.
