It is said also (in a net resource that i cant remember now) that Vertigo
ovata (T. Say, 1822) (interesting in that it is rare acc. to IUCN) brought
to NZ from NA, Lauria (Lauria) cylindracea (DA COSTA 1778), Vallonia
excentrica STERKI, 1893, Cecilioides (Cecilioides) acicula (O. F. MÜLLER
1774), Paralaoma servilis (SHUTTLEWORTH, 1852), Deroceras (Deroceras) laeve
(O.F. MÜLLER, 1774), Candidula intersecta (POIRET, 1801) are from (Atlantic
coast of) Europe.

"and hydrobiids such as Potamopyrgus." for P. antipodarum it is a common
explanation that they are carried with ships (on barrels etc).

"M. sallei is another New World species that has reached the Old World."
