At the COA bourse I purchased a shell labeled Conus scalaris. The tag gives
Valenciennes, 1832 as the author and Guaymas, Mexico as location. I can find
nothing in any of my books about this shell. Is it common? uncommon? Is this
a vallid species. Any hope would be appreciated.

Thanks
