Dear All:
Does anyone know of a citation dealing with the erosion of shell apices
and umbos from leaching of calcium because of low suspended calcium in
the water.....as opposed to non-eroded shells in water with high calcium
content?

Assitance will be greatly appreciated....trying to finish up a
long-languishing manuscript....
