The spam is not actually from the site, the spammers have just grabbed the
mailing list (among thousands of others) and then make free with it. They
do this with any list on the Internet. I have become quite handy with the
shift-delete keys which will send the message into the either, by-passing
your trash bin.

i wonder if this has anything to do with the enormous amount of spam email
and other junk that is sent......since I joined conch-L, I have had exactly
60 emails concerning my health, wealth and a variety of marital aids.....so
far I have "won" almost 140 million in the UK lottery, people from Africa
wish to send me almost 78 million and well i wont get into the other stuff.
I get these daily now, where as I got none before. My filters and settings
are correct, my hotmail and serve email do not reject anything is just
sends it to the junk pile. I thought moderators are supposed to read the
posts first? The spam from the site is very annoying. More than likely
the reason why i dont post often.

Sincerely, Lyle
