I believe Dr. R. Tucker Abbott was very involved with that.  We gave out
first issues at the COA convention!

In 1985 the US Postal Service put out set of "Shells on Postage Stamps"

Is there anyone out there that knows any of the history about them,
Perhaps what Malacologist was involved etc ?
