I am enjoying the comments on grading.  After 43 years of collecting on the
field, we find there are some shells that are NEVER gem.    They always have
flaws no matter what!    But we have graded them gem anyway knowing that.  I
believe a gem shell MUST have an operculum and good data.

Come inspect a new supply of gorgeous shells at the first Shell Festival of
the year in Melbourne Florida.  There will be 22 dealers on hand!

January 21-22, 2006    Sat.  9- 5 p.m.    Sunday  9-4 p.m.

And as long as you are coming...how about bringing an exhibit?   Exhibit
