Hi Paul and all,
As a newcomer to shell clubs I can tell you that there are a few things that
I find very appealing in them.
One is a good publication. Secondly, trips to collect. I live so far away
that attending meetings in impractical, going on a field trip with the
possibility of adding to my collection and meeting new people gives me extra
incentive to join.

Clubs that offer these things are getting my attention.

I must say that a good web sight is also impressive. I have been considering
joining the Jacksonville, FL Shell Club because of their informative web
sight even though I doubt if I would ever be able to attend a meeting.

If I lived closer to the (a) club I would be interested in meetings but
seeing that I do not, I will have to be a long distant member. The best that
I could hope for would be an occasional visit to a meeting.

Matt
