One of our local shell club members recently gave me an interesting
invertebrate from his pond which I tentatively classifed as a flatworm of
some kind. So far, I have been unable to identify it, and was hoping
someone might be able to help. I took several pics when it was alive. It
is now in alcohol, and I hope to get some closeups under my microscope soon.
I will gladly send the pics to anyone who thinks they might be able to help.
One thing, it doesn't have the typical arowhead-shaped head that flatworms
are known for. This is evident in my pics.
Thanks,
John
