Hi, Listers!
This shell should not have given me trouble, as the name and locality were supplied. It was labelled Cymatosyrinx thea, which would now be Cerodrillia thea, and it was taken W. of Cedar Key, Florida, in the 1960's. However, it does not seem to match the image of this species on the Sanibel museum's URL. I can send you two scans, one of the aperture side , of the full shell; and one with the spire propped up to give a better scan of the aperture.
Again, can you help me? I do not wish to identify it incorrectly.
Thanks,
Linda Bush
