Sure Chris, indeed you will be able to correct the color balance using the filter (I am too lazy to
find one to fit the camera though, so I use Photoshop to correct it...)

Aloha Aydin & Marcus,
I'll spill the beans on this since i've used ring's for years on most of my
macro-work. A Daylight UV Filter that's double threaded will instantly
correct the white color balance problem. The natural color will be restored.
I've tried Polarizers but FL's give a more natural tone.    Mahalo!  CHRIS:)
