Indeed - even the results will show some nonsense pages from time to time.

Google itself gives better results when searching webpages directly (not only images). Using " "
when searching for two or more words narrows a bit the results too. For example if you type
Cancellaria balboae will bring 6 pages of results. If you type "Cancellaria balboae" only two pages
will appear.

 Marco:

Strange as it may seem, I am familiar with the procedure for searching for
references to Cancellaria, etc. I am really sorry to learn that my name
appears only among homonyms as I know of only one for which I am
 responsible.

The point I had hoped to make was that through the procedure listed, you
immediately get thumbnail photos of what is on each site whereas in a
"regular" Google search you have to click on each site (most of which do
not
contain videos). On neither "images" or "videos" do you get references to
papers, books, etc. I have not tried it, but I suppose that one could just
type "snail images" in the search bar and achieve the same purpose.
