Good morning, Harry! Good evening, Andrew!

Harry, I suppose the URL was divided so that you were unable to link directly to the page. Try this:

The shell should be at or near the top of the list, titled "Micro: stellate discoid from Arno".

(Or did you mean "what locality"? It's from 70 feet off Arno in the Marshall Islands.)

By the way, I think it's clear that the aperture faces anteriorly (is there a term for that?).

Andrew, it's translucent but non-nacreous. I didn't find an operculum. There was sand in it and I've been getting a bit braver: I've been turning the water pick spray onto my finger just ADJACENT to where I'm grasping a 1mm micro between thumb and forefinger. One false move and it'll be gone forever in the relative vastness of my bathroom. Any other techniques come to mind?

David
