I have the "Source Book of Biological Names.and Terms" and it is very good.

Ken and I got a book a few years ago called "A Source-Book of Biological
Names and Terms" by Edmund C. Jaeger.  Publisher Charles C. Thomas.  It
gives the meanings of the Latin terms and is very helpful in remembering
the Latin names as so many of them are descriptive.  Hope this helps.
