Dear Martin, etc.
I don't see how this book can possibly get off the ground without help
from Caribbean collectors and expetrts, and there are so many splits in
what I consider to be the same species that the whole thing is very
confusing.  The cardinalis "forms" would be a real challenge to
straighten out.  It's really too bad, because we could use that book.
