Dear Shellers

Back on the list after a few months out. Happy new year to all of you.
Two related questions :
1)Can anyone provide data on shelling in Kenya in Lamu Island?
My wife goes there in 3 days and she would be glad to bring back a few addenda to our collection. Especially, does someone know more about :
-cowries to be found on mangrove roots? I've read this somewhere, but can't find it back.
-lyria lyriaeformis. Does anyone have a clue about how to collect them?
I don't even know habitat or depth.

Any information welcome

2)How do I look in the past messages on this list to find out what has already been said about Kenya?

Thanx in advance to all of you. Les francophones peuvent utiliser la langue de Moliere.

By the way, this is a way to say big thanx to the Aussies who helped us a lot when we went to OZ in september :
Patty Jensen
Alan and Joan Limpus
Ena Coucom (letter and parcel on the way) and Yeppoon shell Club
Dawn Coughlan
