Dear all, I need some help. While I was looking in an old
copy of Rice's Price's, I came across the price for Calliostoma
atlantis. It said they cost five bucks. Five bucks?! In one of my
more recent shell books (1991) there was a photo of one of the
only 2 Calliostoma atlantis in the world. Has their habitat been
discovered, or something? Can anybody tell me if this species
has become common and if the current value is really $5?

Thanks,
James
