Does anyone out there have any idea what a good used copy of Powell's 1979
"New Zealand Mollusca" would be worth? Are there people out there who would
want one? I've been advertising for copies here in NZ for a year, but so
far have found only one, and that by accident. There must be plenty of
copies around, as they were remaindered about 1982 or a bit later, and the
bookshops had piles of them; most must be moldering on nonshell folks'
shelves or in basement boxes.

Was that price for Abbott's "American Seashells" second edition quoted by
David Kirsh $480 US? Vivienne Smith found a good copy for me for $50US,
though that was a while ago. Is Jerry Harasewych revising it for a third
edition? Put me down for one!
