Urgently wanted: preserved wet specimens of Epitonium blainei for
dissection, radula and DNA analysis, SEM work for comparison with
Cirsotrema zelebori.

Also wanted: confirmation that these shells really do occur in the
Atlantic, and are not New Zealand North Island specimens with falsified
locality data.

Has anyone out there actually collected one over there in USA/Caribbean
waters, or do they only come from dealers, who may be being duped?

Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.
