Well, I don't know how applicable this is but.....
One of the ways to increase breakdown plus fertilise your garden is to spray
on yeast by products. If you have a brewery near by this is the liquid they
usually throw away!
Your lawn may smell like a brewery for a couple of days but it accelerates
composting and increases nutrients for your garden

        Does anyone know of anything you can spray or strew on dead leaves
to
make 'em rut faster? Catalpa, Oak, Maple.
        The leaf blower is taking just too long---or maybe I'm just a bit
weaker.
