The ARC-GCI, CIMMYT Kenya and Embu KARI had developed a
Genetic Coefficient database of 168 maize cultivars mostly from east
and Southern Africa. The trials consist of different sites in combination
with different planting dates and plant populations. These experiments
were done under irrigation, optimum fertilizer, with weed, pest and
disease control, thus optimum conditions.

This represent measured values. We are making this draft Genetic
Coefficient dataset available for comments and suggestions.

This research was done with funding from the Ecoregional fund as part
of the Highveld Ecoregion project.

Andre
