If you are bringing students to the National FFA Convention this week, please be aware that National FFA and the city of Indianapolis have increased the security in the city for this week’s convention. 



Please be aware that in addition to more uniform and undercover law enforcement officers throughout the city, there will be use of metal detectors at most facilities. That includes Bankers Life Field House (where Convention seasons are held), the Indiana Convention Center (where the Expo, Shopping Mall, & Agriscience Fair are located) and Lucas Oil Stadium (home to concert and American Degree ceremony). Please help inform those in your party to not carry pocket knives or any item that will not clear the metal detectors.
