Research Programmer - Job #I9899-074

our Central Research facility with the addition of a talented Research
Programmer.
This position will be responsible for gathering requirements and
developing computer applications to support R&D efforts in spatial data
technologies. This will involve developing new software applications,
programming and data organizing for scientists to support testing and
new method development.
To qualify, you will need at least a BS degree in Computer Science
and/or a related discipline and at least 3 years of programming and/or
software development experience in geographic info, remote sensing,
crop modeling or statistics. Extensive experience with two or more of
the following is required: C++, Java, ERDAS, ENVI, MapObjects, Avenue,
SAS, DSSAT and/or SDE.
