Hi Carlos,
You can learn about our GIS services here:
http://www4.uwm.edu/libraries/AGSL/agsgis/homegis.cfm
and about our plotters and scanners here:
http://www4.uwm.edu/libraries/AGSL/servrprdt.cfm#scanning
Now that you aren't a depository library you get to learn a new trick!
Best of luck!
Angie

At our library we are looking into the possibility of expanding GIS
services.
What I am wondering is what are libraries who provide GIS services doing
for their patrons? What kind of equipment do you have? What kind of
training/workshops do you provide for patrons? What kind of usage does
your GIS services get?
We are a mediuim sized academic library at a college with an enrollment
of about 4,000 students. There is a great deal of emphasis in the
environmental sciences, envirionmental studies, public policy, and
education to name a few.
At this time, we only have one GIS workstation and have been thinking
about purchasing a plotter so we can access all that electronic GIS data
available from the government.
I look forward to hearing from ya'll.
