Does anyone know of a software program or table that would give the amount
of silt and/or sand when given the USDA texture designation (i.e., loam) and the
% of clay? U.S soil surveys give the texture designations and percentage of
clay but not the % of clay or sand. I am aware of the TAL calculator program of
Christopher Teh Boon Sung that gives the texture designation when % clay and %
silt or sand is input. However, it doesn't do the reverse.
