Doug: I have done models for Jim's Shell Show Exhibits. They really are
quite easy to do. I use FIMO clay. Need to have a good picture of the
animal. I mold the animal so that the shell sits on it and you can
remove the shell any time. I made a groove in the clay while it is soft
so the shell sits right on it. I then bake the FIMO clay and paint it
to match the colors of the real animal. You won't believe how easy it
is to do.
