Hi! No, various Conus certainly do appear in our far north (and as fossils
throughout the country). Occurrences in the North Island are sporadic and
it is doubtful that they are breeding here. Our Kermadec Islands have
breeding populations however. This is off the top of my head, I don't have
any references on the subject.
