Dear Paul, Mark and others,
"Trochus" glyptus Watson 1879 belongs in the genus Calliotropis (Eucyclinae
- Trochidae) It is found off the east coast of Australia in deep water
(500m). I haven't as yet figured out where Mark put up pictures of these
shells, but if this shell is not from this area, it's probably something else
