And one can meet seahorses in a vanishing paradise named Elaphonissos or
Elaphonissi, southwestern Crete, a place with lots of spondylidae and other
splendid shells like Pinna nobilis (Please do not fish Pinna nobilis).
Sea horses are here green-yellow with spatulate extensions all around the
body. There are always OK to curl their tail around a finger, and the
challenge then, when just snorkeling, is to stop surfacing with these
passengers on board.
