Erato (a relative of Trivia) also has a bulla stage: the smallest Erato
species are mature at about 3 mm long. A bulla stage 1 mm length might be a
newly settled larval shell of a cypraeid, an ovulid or a triviid. What kind
of sculpture does it have?
>There are, however many Trivia species are are fully mature at 1mm!
Actually the smallest known trivia is Niveria atomaria from the Eastern
Pacific. Cate (1979) illustrates a specimen 2.9 mm long. An undescribed
triviid from the Andaman Sea in the collection here is 2.2 mm in length.
