Leeches... yecch. Horrible little worms.
Fortunately NZ has few, and those are very small. North America has
large gray/black aggressive ones. And Australia and parts of SE Asia
have LAND leeches... I met these in the Blue Mountains.
Anyone ever encountered a MARINE leech? They do exist.
