The freshwater bivalve collection database at the Division of Molluscs now
has over 78,000 lots containing over 420,000 specimens. We have moved to a
new software package, Specify, that is much more powerful than the old one
and returns considerably more data. Please give it a try and send us your
comments. If you have linked directly to the old database, you will need to
redirect your link. We are in the process of changing the entire website
from FrontPage to Dreamweaver, so look for more changes. For now, use the
old link:

Some new material has been added to the Digital Murex site, including some
Caribbean rarities.
