Conchologists,
I know most slugs don't have much in the way of shells, but some of you
might be interested in some watercolours...

* Aleta has other slug paintings at
http://thenaturejournal.com/aletalog/?p=79 and
http://thenaturejournal.com/aletalog/?p=77
These are illustrations for our "Identifying Introduced Land Snails and
Slugs in Canada, with a guide to native genera" project --
http://www.mollus.ca/tgc/index.htm -- which is much more advanced in the
text, which Robert Forsyth is leading, than on the website, which I'm
supposed to be setting up.
Aleta <[log in to unmask]> would love to receive slugs to paint from
anywhere in Canada, and she can arrange shipment though government
channels for species we can't get in Canada.
