I had to do a "verification" run through my collection the last couple
of months as 1) I also wanted to digitize my records and 2) I "may" sell
it at a later date. Anyway, being much more knowledgeable, IMO about
mollusks than the average "beachcomber"...I still am just a coral
build-up on the exterior of a cerith shell when compared to most of you
on this list-server. I have gained so much insight just lurking on the
list.
My question is; In your estimation, has there been any shell family,
common under 50 years ago but now..or very recently becoming a prized
rarity.
Thanks
Brian
