Conchologists,
I'm upgrading a manual of our local big aquatic invertebrates for a
workshop I'm giving on Wednesday, and find that I don't have photos of
some species I'd like to illustrate:
Pseudosuccinea columella
Helisoma anceps
Aplexa elongata/hypnorum
I wonder if anyone has good pictures of these species on their website
or in their files that I could use (these don't have to be very
high-res, the ones I'm using are 600 pixels wide).
The program I'm using keeps eating my work of inserting the pictures
into the text, so I'm not making much net progress, but last night's
state of the manual is http://pinicola.ca/invert_Tay.pdf if anyone wants
to look at it, and perhaps comment.
Also, there's a picture in it of the Bryozoan Pectinatella magnifica
that I snagged off the web when this was a more private document, and
it's no longer up, so anyone recognizes the picture, and knows how to
get in touch with the source of it, so I could ask for permission to use
it, would simplify my life by that much.
thanks,
fred.
