Saipan and Tinian. Nice landscape, best climate in the world (official -
see Guiness Book of Records), regular scheduled flights by NorthWest via
Tokyo, and it's a Commonwealth of the USA. Nice, long reefs for
snorkelling; lots of shells (and you can mail them home by US mail); cheap
hotels all over, and nice people. Tinian is spectacular, and there is good
shelling as well as fossil coral reefs from which you can dig out specimens
with a pocket knife. Contact me off-list if you need more information.
