Seems to me it would be a book on local shells, presuming you are near the
sea. Even if the book is old and outdated, it would be popular.
I love to watch the general public at a shell show look at exhibits.
They're always pointing out stuff they found on the local beach - even if
it's from the Philippines! That's why I think it's important to have
exhibits of local shells in each shell show. From my point of view the most
successful exhibits are the ones with the most fingerprints on them - from
people pointing out shells to their friends. And these are usually exhibits
of local shells.
