Latin words ending in -ensis are adjectives and the ending therefore changes with the gender of the genus: -ensis with masculine and feminine, -ense with neuter.

Hello,
I need someone to please refresh my memory. If a trivial name ends in
"ensis", it will not change if the generic name changes correct?!? Or can
it change to "ense"?!?
Examples:
Lioconcha castrensis
Psammotreta amboynensis
Semipallium rapanensis
or
Semipallium rapanense
Thank you in advance,
Ghost Sheller
