OK, then, boreal as "northern" or "frigid" makes SOME sense, but still the
Arctic province is the northernmost molluscan province. Also, the Boreal
province includes the British Isles, which is fairly temperate (or so I was
taught in school) due to the Gulf Stream. Ross would swelter.

Also, does the Boreal molluscan province apply to other marine phyla? A
related question: do the other provinces generally apply that way?
