Subject: types
Dear Conklers;-
This is a public thankyou to Kevin Cummings. He sent me a list
of "types". There are over 100 type names including such esoteric
nominations as: Iconoplastotype, Chirotype, and Tophomeotype. They are
all described, dictionary style in the publication: Annals of the
Entomological Society of America. Vol. XXXII, No. 4. December, 1939.
The extract runs a dozen pages. You will not use it every
day----but it will be a nice addition to your library ---and you can WOW
your friends with such as: "Ah! That must be the Icotype described by
Schmendrick in his 1849 publication."
I'm already impressed.
Thanks, Kevin.
